Rolled beeswax candle kits are great for at-home crafting! This is an adult & kid-friendly activity. Kids will need some assistance with occasional cutting, but most of the activity is done independently! Recommended for kids ages 4+ but younger children can also make candles with more help. Kits include enough supplies to make 8-12 candles depending on which types of candles you make. Candles can be burned on a heat/wax drip safe surface in a secure candleholder, but I personally just love them as décor! The wax has a naturally sweet beeswax scent but is otherwise not fragranced.

You will need: Scissors, knife for cutting wax, a hair dryer (in case wax needs a little warming to be more pliable) & newspaper, cardboard or any type of paper to cover surface work areas.

I purchased these kits for my mother and myself. On Mother’s Day my 5 and 7 year olds spent time with me making these candles. It was fun and easy for them. Great for any age and teaches kids to work with a new medium. We made a lot more candles then you see here. These are just the 5 my kids made for me. Definitely worth the value and they would make great gifts for anyone!
